Job Description:

I am a 64 year old disabled woman living near Totnes, with my 2 working collies.

I love to train my dogs; I also enjoy walking them on the beach and Dartmoor, driving my van (via a joystick) and zhuzhing up the house and garden when the opportunities arise.

I have quadriparesis and experience a lot of pain.  I need help with hoisting, personal care, taking medication, drinking and eating; cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping, admin etc; feeding my dogs {raw food}, training and exercising them.  I need your arms and legs to enable me this make to happen.

Requirements:

Due to my vulnerability, RELIABILITY IS ESSENTIAL!

Previous experience is not a prerequisite, as I can guide you, including in relation to how specifically to handle me and the dogs, one of which who can be quite sharp. (nb. These are NOT pet dogs). A driving licence is essential; a good set of waterproofs, wellingtons and a hardy nature are also vital.

Being flexible to work as a team with my other PA’s covering sickness and holidays would also be an advantage. No time wasters, please only apply if you are interested in this role.

Alternate Sunday 7.30am-1pm

Alternate Sunday 1pm-7pm

Hourly rate:

£17.25 per hour
