Quirky Jobs has high standards in terms of providing a positive job seeker experience. The guidelines below will help you create a job listing that matches up to these standards. Please remember the information below is not an exclusive list of what is and isn’t allowed, but we hope it will provide a useful guide.
General recruitment
- Only list an available job. Each listing on Quirky Jobs should represent a real and available job.
- Don’t discriminate. Jobs on Quirky Jobs must be open to qualified job seekers regardless of disability, age, gender or gender identity, creed, race, and sexual orientation.
- Pay reliably. Jobs listed on Quirky Jobs should have hourly or salaried wages. The job seeker should not have to pay out for any part of the application or onboarding process.
- Respect job seeker privacy. Information that job seekers provide you should never be shared outside of your organisation.
Job titles and descriptions
- Don’t use inappropriate content. If any of a job listing’s title or description is generally deemed as inappropriate or offensive, the listing will not be made visible on the Quirky Jobs website.
- Create an honest listing. Offer job seekers transparency into the true nature of the job. Be up front about duties, location, and salary.

- Franchise or training opportunities
- Multi-level marketing positions
Listings that don’t meet our standards may require additional information from the hiring company. Listings that are misleading or that don’t appear to be ‘real’ jobs may be removed without warning.
